Sorry to all my followers…
the ones who actually ever read this.
I’ve not had very much internet access since I’ve gone on vacation. I won’t really have internet for reals until August 23rd.
Lost 5 pounds since I’ve been here. (which is a huge surprise, because I’ve been eating horribly.)

There are many more positives about weed than there are about alcohol or cigarettes. Why don’t we just make those illegal too? After, plenty of people have died as a DIRECT consequence of smoking (cancer. Not something to play with.) and drinking (drowning in vomit? alchohol poisoning?) Who has died from using weed? THC can’t kill you, and while as far as I know you can still get lung cancer from it, I believe the risks are far less. If you smoke weed, YOU roll the blunt, joint, whatever, not some tobbacco company who just wants to make them look more appealing (there are sooo many carcinogens in a single cigarette.)
I don’t even do weed, but I don’t think you should judge something you really know nothing about.

REAL WOMEN:There is no wrong way to have a body.
Real women do not have curves. Real women do not look like just one thing.
Real women have curves, and not. They are tall, and not. They are brown-skinned, and olive-skinned, and not. They have small breasts, and big ones, and no breasts whatsoever.
Real women start their lives as baby girls. And as baby boys. And as babies of indeterminate biological sex whose bodies terrify their doctors and families into making all kinds of very sudden decisions.
Real women have big hands and small hands and long elegant fingers and short stubby fingers and manicures and broken nails with dirt under them.
Real women have armpit hair and leg hair and pubic hair and facial hair and chest hair and sexy moustaches and full, luxuriant beards. Real women have none of these things, spontaneously or as the result of intentional change. Real women are bald as eggs, by chance and by choice and by chemo. Real women have hair so long they can sit on it. Real women wear wigs and weaves and extensions and kufi and do-rags and hairnets and hijab and headscarves and hats and yarmulkes and textured rubber swim caps with the plastic flowers on the sides.
Real women wear high heels and skirts. Or not.
Real women are feminine and smell good and they are masculine and smell good and they are androgynous and smell good, except when they don’t smell so good, but that can be changed if desired because real women change stuff when they want to.
Real women have ovaries. Unless they don’t, and sometimes they don’t because they were born that way and sometimes they don’t because they had to have their ovaries removed. Real women have uteruses, unless they don’t, see above. Real women have vaginas and clitorises and XX sex chromosomes and high estrogen levels, they ovulate and menstruate and can get pregnant and have babies. Except sometimes not, for a rather spectacular array of reasons both spontaneous and induced.
Real women are fat. And thin. And both, and neither, and otherwise. Doesn’t make them any less real. There is no wrong way to have a body.

Oh my gosh, I’m back on track with my weightloss. I was 149.8 this morning, which is only .2 less than what I’ve been weighing, but at least the scale is moving (and in the right dirction!) again.
Ihop has some delightful food. I had half a Chicken Fajita Salad last night, and it was pretty good. (Way overpriced for a bowl of mostly lettuce and cheese….but tastey nonetheless.) Only 395 calories.
I’m going home tomorrow, too. =] It’s a 16 hour flight, and I leave at 11:25 pm, but this is singularly the most exciting thing I have ever been actually doing since we moved up here. And probably before that for awhile, too. Wish me luck! =3
I’ve always wondered….
How is infinity possible?? And is it possible for there to be someone (almost) EXACTLY like me on the planet? What is animals had developed speach and advanced brains? Would they be where we are now instead? Hmmm. Sometimes I wish I could just be blissfully ignorant.
I hate not being able to have someone answer all my questions about anything and be right about them.

tusen-takk-deactivated20120922 asked: I was just wondering if you could help me :) I'm looking to lose 30lb. I'm eating healthily, three meals a day and limited snacks in between. Do you have any advice?? What helps keep you motivated and how do you do it???
Wow, I can’t believe you asked me something! =3
I’ve actually been at a plateau for a month-ish, but I’ve always heard that if you vary your daily calories that it tricks your body into losing weight faster. (I started doing this and lost about 20 pounds doing it. Then I got lazy, and I’m starting it again on Monday.) Also HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is supposed to be more effective than hours of similar intensity cardio.
I have to be honest. I haven’t really been doing much recently, and I only just started eating right and exercising again. With eating healthy, I stay motivated by the fact that I get horrible headaches if I drink sodas or have a lot of sugar. Bread is the worst for me. T_T At first, I was motivated to get fit by the fact that my husband is getting chubby, and I wanted to be better than him at something. =] But now it’s because I love the way my body feels….I can run up the stairs and still be able to breath at the top…and my thighs don’t get rashes from rubbing together anymore… and before I started this I was diagnosed with severe depression, but I haven’t felt it hardly at all in months. It’s amazing for me to look in the mirror and be okay with what I see. I’ve hated the way I looked since I was in second grade, but now I’m being healthy for the first time in my life and it feels amazing. =]
